2. Credit Card Authorization & Billing

  • Authorization: When you place an order for parts, an authorization hold is placed on your card to verify funds. Your card is officially charged only when the order is processed for shipping or local pick-up.

  • Service Deposits: For professional repair or remodeling services, a 50% deposit is typically required to secure your appointment and order specialized materials. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the work.

  • Billing Information: For your protection, your billing name and address must match the information on file with your credit card issuing bank. Orders with mismatched information may be delayed for manual verification.

3. Sales Tax

As a Florida-based business, The Boat Pro is required by law to collect sales tax on all orders shipped to addresses within the State of Florida or picked up at our Miami location.

  • Tax Rates: Tax is calculated based on the destination zip code and current Florida state and local (Miami-Dade) rates.

  • Tax-Exempt Customers: If you are a commercial entity or reseller with a valid Florida Annual Resale Certificate for Sales Tax, please contact our support team to set up a tax-exempt account before placing your order.
